Fresh off deals totaling billions of dollars with several African nations, China turned its eye to South Asia this past week. President Hu finished his tour in Pakistan where he promised to work with Islamabad to elevate strategic ties to `a new high'' and strengthen trade and economic cooperation.
This South Asian trip focused on Trade Diplomacy is yet another of many examples of China being option 1-B to many developing nations seeking foreign investment and aid. America's 17 year, post Cold War at the top of world economics is over. China is not just a developing nation with a a high GDP growth rate, but a possible "road less traveled" for emerging markets and developing countries.
